14 BEAN SOUP Mix 14 kinds of beans, Wash 1 lb of beans, cover with water in a LARGE kettle. Add 3 tbsp salt. Soak overnight. In the morning, drain. Add 2 quarts
of water Combine all,
simmer slowly for 3 hours. Remove pork hocks, discard skin, fat, bones
and return meat to soup.
