JELL-O LAYER CAKE

2 sponge cake layers
2 packages of Jell-O in colors to suit your décor
½ pint of heavy cream, whipped for later

The night before serving, put each layer in a layer cake pan that has a little spare space. Prepare the Jell-O and pour one color over each layer, slowly.
The cake will absorb the color you choose. Obviously this is a lot of moisture and the cake will not be light and fluffy. Chill overnight. Spread with whipped cream between layers and over top. I only used this recipe to see if it works, or to carry out a party color scheme, and I had lots of ice cream handy.
